Definitely one of the most interesting acts of vandalism I’ve seen in a while…

Ah Irony
You just have to appreciate the irony of this paragraph in the CakePHP manual:
Now, in order to help you understand this, let’s use a practical example. Imagine, for a moment, a computer system used by a group of adventurers. The leader of the group wants to forge ahead on their quest while maintaining a healthy amount of privacy and security for the other members of the party. The AROs involved are as following:
- Gandalf
- Aragorn
- Bilbo
- Frodo
- Gollum
- Legolas
- Gimli
- Pippin
- Merry
Indeed, a practical example :P
Oh Noes!

I am 77% Evil Genius.
I am pure evil. I lie awake at night devising schemes of world domination, and I will not rest until all living souls bend to my will.

Why Going to the Movies Sucks So Bad
Blogcritics.org: Why Going to the Movies Sucks So Bad is a nice take on the (sometimes) ordeal of having to go watch a movie…
The Good Old Days
Its amazing how the usage of email has changed. Once upon a time I could expect most, if not all of the email in my inbox to be of some value to me, something someone had taken time to write up (in plain text, no more) and it had purpose. The subject field still carried meaning with most people, and was filled in with an almost religious effort at meaningfulness. Ah, how I long for those days, when men were men and email was more of a communication vector, and not a public forum for the sharing of pretty pictures and smileys and all that crap.
Nowadays, the only serious email I get comes from clients. Friends no longer send email to say “Hi, how are you?” Actually, come to think of it, some of them do, but its more along the lines of, “Hi, hw r u???”
Its almost not worth my time checking my email anymore. The only folders in my inbox I scan with any effort are the mailing lists, and also an ‘approved’ smart folder.
Racing Through Paris
This video (allegedly) of a Ferrari racing through Paris at up to 140 MPH is just insane. Feels rather like someone is playing Need for Speed actually.
Some have suggested that it may be a motorcycle instead of a car, but the level of tilt on all the maneuvers performed aren’t quite consistent with a bike, and when was the last time you saw a bike drift?
Grab it via one of the methods listed in the post.
Nobody Can Complain
When in doubt about what music to play, put on Hell Freezes Over by The Eagles. Never fails to satisfy as background music.
Any other suggestions? Leave a comment.
Explorer Destroyer
Explorer Destroyer seems to be a rather interesting and fanatical take on converting the unwashed masses over to Firefox. Check it out.
